Welcome to HAWG HUNTERS BASS CLUB, The areas only Catch & Release Club. We don't harm the fish by keeping them in a live well till weigh in. Below is a brief description of the club.

Hawg Hunters Fearless Founder Bear, R.I.P.
We are a local (Southern Tier of N.Y.) Bass Club. We have been fishing as a club for about 20 years. We fish local Lakes,Rivers,and Reserviors. We work on a blind draw format. We are a non-profit club.

We welcome boaters and non-boaters alike. Cash awards for 1st,2nd,3rd,lunker,and concession at each site.(sometimes 4th). Accumulated points go for end of year awards which are: Angler of the year, Non-Boater of the year, Lunker, and Sportsmen of the year.

We weigh/measure our fish with the golden rule system.This eliminates the need for livewells. This system is fair to all,and greatly decreases the probability of dead or dying fish.Your catch is weighed/measured at the the time of capture, recorded by your partner on a card, and immediately released. We are about 16 strong. Our boats range from 12 footers with 10 horses to a couple of rangers. We could be described as a club for those people who have thoughts of being a tournament bass fisherman and want to see what it's like. We offer tournament competition at a low price.
